IGF::OT::IGF - THIS IS TO PROCURE THE SERVICES OF A REPUTABLE FIRM TO MOVE THE USAID NIGERIA FURNITURE TO THE GUEST HOUSE ON 13TH, 14TH AND 15TH, MAY 2016 PER SCOPE OF WORK BELOW. THE MOVE WOULD ENTAIL THE MOVEMENT AND THE SETTING UP OF FURNITURE TO THEIR DESIGNATED LOCATION(S) AT THE USAID GUEST HOUSE: GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK REQUIREMENT: USAID NIGERIA PROCURED HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE TO FURNISH A FIVE BEDROOM DUPLEX WITH THREE LIVING ROOMS. THESE ITEMS ARE CURRENTLY LOCATED IN 2 NOS. 40FT CONTAINERS LOCATED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE US EMBASSY COMPOUND AT THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. THE SELECTED CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE ENOUGH TRUCKS WITH A CLOSED CABIN TO HAUL THE ITEMS SAFELY AND WITHOUT DAMAGE FROM THE CURRENT LOCATION (OPPOSITE THE US EMBASSY) TO THE USAID GUEST HOUSE (GH). THE CONTRACTOR WOULD PROVIDE ALL THE MATERIALS, LABOR AND SUPERVISION REQUIRED FOR THE SUCCESSFUL MOVEMENT OF THE FURNITURE AND LIMITED IT EQUIPMENT FROM ITS CURRENT LOCATION (OPPOSITE THE US EMBASSY) TO THE USAID GUEST HOUSE. ALL WORK WILL BE COMPLETED WITHIN THREE DAYS: THE ITEMS WILL BE MOVED IN CLOSED CABIN TRUCK(S), ARRANGED AND SET-UP AT A PRE-DETERMINED LOCATION IN THE GH, UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF USAID STAFF (TO BE DETERMINED). THE SUCCESSFUL CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE A WORKFORCE THAT IS EXPERIENCED WITH THE ASSEMBLY OF USG RESIDENTIAL FURNITURE. ITEMS SUCH AS BEDS, DRESSERS WILL NEED TO BE SET-UP PROPERLY AND IN THE PROPER LOCATION. THE CONTRACTOR IS SAID TO HAVE SATISFACTORILY EXECUTED THIS CONTRACT WHEN ALL THE FURNITURE AND IT EQUIPMENT ARE IN THERE CORRECT PLACE AND THE EXCESS ONES HAVE BEEN SAFELY STOWED IN A DESIGNATED AREA AT THE GH. USAID WILL PROVIDE SUPPORT STAFF TO OVERSEE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE SELECTED CONTRACTOR AND OFFER SET-UP GUIDANCE AS MAY BE NEEDED. LIST OF ITEMS TO BE MOVED INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. BED FRAMES INCLUDING HEADBOARDS 2. MATTRESSES 3. BOOKCASES 4. SOFAS 5. PLASMA CREDENZAS 6. DINING TABLE AND ACCESSORIES 7. GLASS CHINA AND BASE 8. LAMPS 9. TABLES AND DESKS 10. RUGS OF VARIOUS SIZES 11. DRESSERS 12. CHESTS 13. LOVE SEATS 14. MIRRORS 15. BUFFETS 16. PHOTOCOPIERS 17. WORKS OF ART 18. ALL OTHER ITEMS IN THE 2 X 40FT CONTAINERS NOT LISTED HERE. THE CONTRACTOR WOULD PROVIDE FUNCTIONAL MOVING EQUIPMENT, LIKE DULLY ETC AS NEEDED FOR THE MOVE. THE SELECTED CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REMOVAL OF ALL DEBRIS RESULTING FROM THIS CONTRACT AT BOTH LOCATIONS. USAID WOULD APPOINT A MOVE COORDINATOR TO INTERFACE WITH THE MOVING COMPANY. TRUCK AND MOVERS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE FROM 7:30AM THROUGH 5:00PM EACH DAY OF THE MOVE. THIS MOVE IS TENTATIVELY PLANNED FOR MAY 13 THROUGH 15, 2016.
