FASTER MICROBOLOMETER DEVICES ARE POSSIBLE, THOUGH NOT TYPICALLY COMMERCIALLY, BUT THERE IS A TRADE BETWEEN DETECTOR RESPONSIVITY AND TIME CONSTANT. EXELIS PROPOSES TO DELIVER AN IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS OF EXISTING DRS MICROBOLOMETER CHARACTERIZATION DATA TO DETERMINE THE PERFORMANCE POTENTIAL OF THIS TECHNOLOGY AND IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT.
