You will serve as the Director, Information Systems and Technology (ISaT) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the Navy Engineering Logistics Office (NELO), responsible for establishing and managing Enterprise-wide Information Technology (IT) planning, competency development (training, policy, and compliance program), budget, architecture, authority, and the achievement of the goals and objectives of NELO/N9 sponsor.

Duties

• You will provide broad direction and policy guidance to senior leadership and serve as an expert on IT and Information Resource Management (IRM).
• You will be responsible for establishing requirements for NELO IT personnel and developing strategies for manning, hiring, training, and professional development.
• You will be responsible for enterprise information management and information systems and monitoring, evaluating, and execution of information technology and programs and the performance of those programs.
• You will provide authoritative top-level managerial and technical advice and consultation to other NELO executives on all matters involving service design and development, service transition and service operations.
• You will define structures and establish requirements to meet programmatic needs and objectives.
• You will act as the competency lead in formulating and communicating organizational and administrative policies governing IT operations.
