G2X TAKE: Coalfire, a consultancy who serves as a cybersecurity advisor helping private and public sector organizations avert threats, close gaps, and effectively manage risks, was just awarded this 5-year contract to provide Information Assurance Services support to this independent agency and volunteer program run by the United States Government providing international social and economic development assistance. This contract was competed and awarded using GSA IT-70, drawing three overall bids. Take Bytes This is the first significant Prime award we can find for Coalfire with the Peace Corps, but this group did add a task in 2017 to provide PC Medics Assessment and Authorization support. Led by William Malone, the President at Coalfire Federal, this group maintains Prime access to a number of Federal Civilian contract vehicles and BPAs, to include the GSA Technology Transformation Services (TTS) BPA and the GSA Centers of Excellence (CoE) Discovery BPA.
