In this position, you will serve as a Branch Chief in the NRMC, Risk Services Subdivision. Typical work assignments include: Supervising federal employees performing work up to the GS-15 level and providing administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the branch. Managing risk portfolios and the development of strategies, plans, or products which may involve significant changes, conflicts, and impacts on current programs and policies. Providing expert technical advice and guidance to Division managers and other technical specialists on significant information security problems and issues. Assisting in the development of long-range plans that anticipate, identify, evaluate, and minimize risks. Collaborating with public and private stakeholders and develop solutions to mitigate risks to National Critical Functions. Participating in cybersecurity partnerships with and across critical infrastructure owners and operators and state, local, tribal and territorial government. Determining the need for policy and procedures and updates as necessary. Capturing, reporting, and analyzing statistical data to the program's operations and directs special studies or projects.
