Notice ID: PCIS-23-00015 Description ISA’s mission is to lead the national effort to protect and enhance the resilience of the nation’s physical and cyber infrastructure. CISA includes the CISA Mission Enabling Offices (MEOs) and six Divisions: the Cybersecurity Division (CSD), the Emergency Communications Division (ECD), the Integrated Operations Division (IOD), Infrastructure Security Division (ISD), the Stakeholder Engagement Division (SED), as well as, the National Risk Management Center (NRMC), which are headquartered with the National Capital Region (NCR). The ISD Office for Bombing Prevention’s (OBP) mission is to protect life and critical infrastructure by building capabilities within the public and across the private and public sectors to prevent, protect against, respond to, and mitigate bombing incidents. In furtherance of this mission, OBP manages a focused portfolio of activities to coordinate national and intergovernmental bombing prevention efforts; enhance C-IED capabilities though requirements and gap analysis; and increase Improvised Explosive Device (IED) awareness and information sharing among Federal, State, local, and private sector partners. OBP programs, developed in partnership with public and private stakeholders, are based on global IED threats and vulnerabilities to terrorist use of explosives, which target critical infrastructure sectors. Through the following programs, OBP enhances the infrastructure protection and bombing prevention capabilities of both public and private sector partners: Strategy Technical Assistance Data and Analysis Training An integral role to this mission is the integration / support functions defined in this requirement as part of the OBP Front Office.
