This position is located in the Office of information Systems (OIS), Chief Administrative Officer, United States Capitol Police. Plans and directs programs and provides supervision and technical guidance to integrate capability and information technology portfolio management and horizontal business process integration in support of the USCP mission. Orchestrates the development, coordination, programming, budget and implementation of the IT investment program, capability, and IT portfolio management. Provides policy, leadership, and direction to the OIS organization, ensuring that all missions and functions are integrated, prioritized and executed within the framework of the OIS strategic plan, priorities and allocated resources, and that OIS performance is evaluated and results in performance improvement. Directs the overall management of assigned programs and initiatives and ensures development of applicable policy and functional guidance. Has full responsibility for the oversight of the establishment of policy and providing guidance and direction for the management of OIS functional areas, ensuring the implementation of an integrated enterprise through synchronization of resources and coordination with other domains to deliver a fully integrated capability that supports customers. Develops and analyzes technical data to establish organization and project goals. Plans and schedules work. Allocates resources, sets and adjusts priorities, determines and adjusts procedures, and projects and defines scope for immediate staff and subordinate supervisors.
