The DOE has issued a contract modification to extend the Eagle Research Group, Inc. Contract Number DE-HS0000086 for additional services. Eagle Research Group shall provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, materials and technical expertise to perform this effort. This contract provides the full scope of the independent oversight program and support for the enforcement and training programs in the areas of safeguards and security; cyber security; emergency management; and environment safety, and health; as well as general and cross-cutting support to Enterprise Assessments. TO consider the solicitation of offers from firms other than Eagle at this time would create a major disruption in services contributing to the Department failing to meet its statutory and regulatory responsibilities to provide assessment mission related activities critical to the health, safety and security of all DOE and contractor personnel.
