The OJS Corrections program works to improve inmate cell checks into a modern electronic tracking and accountability format. 1 Scope 1.1 The contractor shall provide a cloud-and-mobile based electronic cell check system and devices in individual inmate cells and common areas. The integrated system shall allow officers to observe inmates within established timeframe and document their observations. The system shall meet the specifications below: 1.1.1 Electronic cell checks using a mobile handheld device 1.1.2 Automatic recording on an electronic log accessible by management/staff 1.1.3 Fully Customizable 1.1.4 Alert systems concerning compliance 1.1.5 Automated/Real time reporting 1.1.6 Compliance failure notice of electronic cell checks 1.1.7 Add notes and observation to cell checks, as needed 1.1.8 Interfacing with current BIA jail management systems 1.1.9 Optional medication recording 1.1.10 Optional wristbands for inmates, cards or tags 1.1.11 Cloud storage with required security FEDRAMP 1.1.12 Virtual training either in facilities or regional sessions and onsite training if needed 1.1.13 Either hard copy or electronic operation manuals that can be printed if needed. 1.1.14 Maintenance and replacement plan for sensors, inmate bracelets and hand-held devices Read more here.
