Notice ID: 140D0423Q0371 Description The Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) identified a need to replace the search tool it uses to locate documents in its past and current case files. OHA issues thousands of administrative decisions and orders annually, requiring its judges, attorneys, and paralegals/legal assistants to conduct a substantial number of searches for documents in its past or current case files. The documents that are searched by OHA users are now located on OHA’s network personal and shared drives. The contractor must provide the software application licensing, technical support, and coordination with OHA program staff for installation and initial configuration and testing, and ongoing patching and upgrade support as needed. The period of performance will be one (1) base year with four (4) option years. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The core components of the software must have the ability to index and perform advanced searches of OHA’s data repository from on-premise file servers (i.e., network drives), the cloud/O365 environment, and local drives. The software must be able to index, search, and display the content of and search results from PDF, MS Office, and WordPerfect documents. The Vendor will maintain and provide technical support for the search tool, to include software upgrades, while ensuring the integration of the updated software version incorporates access to existing data and functionality of the current version. Since the OHA data will be hosted on FedRAMP-approved cloud environment, the search engine software must be FedRAMP-compliant (See Paragraph 5, Cybersecurity Requirements). Read more here.
