RFQ ID: RFQ1612803 Set-Aside Type: Small Business set-aside MAS Category/SIN: MAS:541611 Description The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Counter Improvised Explosive Device Section (CIEDS) is a unit established within the Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG). The mission of the CIEDS is to have personnel ready to respond and assist FBI field divisions in both pre-crisis planning and response to critical incidents and major investigations; to provide expertise in crisis management, negotiations, technical and tactical operations, behavioral assessment, surveillance and aviation; to provide enterprise-wide situational awareness and maintain a platform for critical interface and dissemination of strategic information; and to present training programs in areas of FBI field offices, federal, state and local, and international partners. This requirement is to provide technical, administrative, program, and training support services to CIEDS.
