The DOL’s Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has issued an RFP for information security analysis, auditing and operation support. The purpose of this contract is to acquire services including information security and management support for mission-critical business functions to achieve MSHA’s mission in protecting the safety and health of the nations’ miners. The contractor shall be subject matter experts on information security and privacy policies and procedures, draft policies and procedures for MSHA, and assist a senior level Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) on information system, continuous monitoring and risk management activities.
The period of performance is 12 months with four 12-month option periods. The entire procurement will be a 100% 8(a) set aside.
