This position serves as the Chief Data Officer, responsible for utilizing scientific methodologies, processes, algorithms, and systems to extract insights from structured and unstructured data and to provide guidance for data-informed decision-making in support of WHD goals and objectives. Duties: Develops, adapts, and integrates data mining capacities using enhanced algorithms as well as structured databases to achieve the insight and perform predictive analytics on data. Uses knowledge of developments and advancements in data science topics to identify and advocate for new technology and tools; evaluates the feasibility and suitability of emerging and alternative analytical methods, assesses the net impact on existing processes, and communicates potential impacts on current and prospective projects. Establishes project objectives, both in terms of necessary methodologies and desired output; identifies, designs, develops, and applies new or novel approaches based on modern data science techniques to WHD analytical projects.
