As Director, Division of Business Transformation and Production Management duties include but are not limited to the following: Perform leadership, managerial and supervisory assignments and exercises delegated authority to oversee the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of activities performed by the division. Supervise staff and works to ensure individual performance is aligned with the agency's mission and objectives. Facilitate cooperation and motivates individual staff members to accomplish organizational goals. Lead efforts to identify and prioritize project requirements with complex policy, data and technology considerations, coordinating input from a cross-functional agency team, navigating the varied perspectives and competing needs of stakeholders, and developing options and recommendations for improved business processes to drive decision-making by agency leadership. Fosters an environment to develop new insights into situations and applies innovative solutions to make organizational improvements; creates a work environment that encourages creative thinking and innovation; designs and implements new or cutting-edge programs/processes. Represent agency business interests in collaboration with OCIO related to the planning and implementation of IT strategy and modernization, including identifying impacts to agency policy and procedures, establishing current and future business process workflows and feature requirements, and directly collaborating with IT developers and business analysts to translate agency business requirements into actionable technical tasks. Advise the Administrator, AO Director, Executive Review Board and other WHD Leadership on such matters as short- and long-range IT planning, IT policy and resources required to develop products and major enhancements to established systems.
