G2X TAKE: GDIT, a longtime partner to the Environmental Protection Agency that specializes in helping the Federal Government address challenges through the application of technology and services, recently beat out two other bidders to be awarded a new 5-year task in support of the EPA’s Great Lakes National Program Office. The task, valued at $23M, was awarded using the GSA OASIS contract vehicle.  Take Bytes  This award comes on the heels of a notable $662M Managed Application, Infrastructure, Networking, Enterprise, and Security Services (MAINES) task the GDIT team was awarded in support of the EPA.  This post by a GDIT team member notes: his “team is part of the Great Lakes National Program Office, which provides scientific research to the Great Lakes area.
