G2X TAKE: Awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures, CAN Softtech, an 8(a) EDWOSB and apparently new entrant to FAA, just picked up this 1-year $7M contract to provide DMS Development and O&M support services to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Take Bytes This is the first Prime award we find for CAN Softtech with FAA or any Federal agency. Their website lists Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State as customers.  Led by Owner, Amar Chandagari, and Executive Director, Swapna Reddygari, CAN Softtech was founded in 2005 "to help our clients develop custom software using advanced technologies" with stated expertise that includes "Software Engineering, Technology Development, Information Technology Architecture, Enterprise Data Systems, Full Lifecycle Systems Design, and Engineering and Integration."
