Responsibilities: Manages programs to collect information from LCFIs and other data sources and integrate them into the CISR data warehouse. Owns, operates, and works cooperatively with staff from other Divisions to improve the systems that contain critical FDIC supervisory information. Leads or staffs projects to ensure such systems are working properly and producing outcomes accurately and efficiently. Manages programs to build reporting and analytic tools and platforms to be used by CISR personnel to measure, monitor, and control risks across institutions, and within particular products or industry practices, and to inform supervision and resolution management decision-making. Leads and staffs projects to develop identified supervisory, resolution, and policy objectives into data products and services with practical applications to improve the supervision and/or resolution of LCFIs under the purview of CISR. Directs subordinates in the development of new diagnostic risk evaluation tools and programs for LCFIs and industry-wide products and practices designed to assess overall risk, concentrations of risk, risk correlations, and industry outliers that pose financial vulnerabilities across the industry. Oversees the creation of reporting processes to summarize system-wide risks and recommends steps to address risks and inform supervision and resolution management decision-making. As needed, provides specialized reports and summaries for senior FDIC officials, other supervisory and regulatory agencies, and other entities. Oversees a team of subject matter experts that analyzes available data to understand the trends, risk exposures, concentrations, and outliers in the CISR banks and broad financial markets, in order to assist with risk assessment and resolution analysis, and provide quantitative input into policy development.
