G2X TAKE: Woman-Owned Small Business CounterTrade Products has been awarded an 18-month, $10M contract by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD) Services. The contract was not competed, citing only one source.
CounterTrade Products is a complete technology solutions company with listed capabilities in IT, storage, security, project management, e-procurement, and white glove services.
The Federal Housing Administration’s (FHA) Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD) portal is a web-based technology system that enables electronic transmission of appraisal reports to FHA from FHA mortgagees and/or their designated thirdparty service provider(s) prior to loan endorsement. Through the EAD portal, mortgagees can simultaneously submit multiple appraisal reports, search for previously submitted appraisal report files, clear “hard stops”, and view reports. The portal is hosted by CounterTrade/Veros, FHA’s EAD portal technology provider, with direct access at ElectronicAppraisalDelivery.com. Read more here.
This award builds on a prior bridge contract for HUD, FHA, and Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD) Portal Support Services and a 2020 2-year sole source to provide continued maintenance of the connection between the EAD system and the HUD Infrastructure through the revised migration plan, including HUD’s origination, quality control, and servicing systems is needed.
CounterTrade Products was recently granted Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Read more here.
CounterTrade Products is led by CEO Sharon Norwell; Vice President of Sales Arno Bergstrom; and Director of Sales & Project Management Tim Robinson.
