Meet the firms – some you know well and some you don’t – that are poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in the second half of 2020 and for years to come.
The G2Xchange research and analytics team led a mid-year review. Included below is an updated list of the now more than 300 companies selected for the NXT UP. Nearly 75 companies were added to the list, which was initially posted in January of this year. A formal and extensive deep-dive analysis will be performed again in 2021.
Does your firm or Government agency spend time trying to identify who the up-and-coming Federal IT and Consulting contractors are? Do you find limited value in the standard stale and old school lists of “Top Firms By Revenue” that look backward, and only highlight one facet of a recipe we all know is critical to success?
Is it important that you know which fresh and groundbreaking companies are likely to experience rapid growth, invest in their people, processes and technologies, and continue to push the envelope in the Federal sector for years to come?
Need partners? The firms identified below represent the top Federal Emerging Technology and Consulting firms in the Government marketplace today. NXT UP was generated using an algorithm that leverages and weighs dozens of public and proprietary data sources. The result is a comprehensive list of those companies, large and small, who continue to reinvent themselves, to invest, to challenge the status quo, and that are poised to make a lasting impact in Federal IT and Consulting in the years ahead. You can read more about the methodology used for generating this list at the bottom of the page.

2020 NXT UP FAQ
Why is G2X/MM10 qualified to lead this analysis?
Quite simply, we have the Data.
Over the past six years, G2Xchange has developed a set of proprietary robust data tools and instruments that allow our team to easily aggregate, capture, organize, score and make sense of the competitive landscape in a way that no one else can.
We are able to leverage data collected and stored from thousands of authoritative sources, to include Government data sets, media, social media, company websites, and more, centered on hires, awards, acquisitions, relevant news, and other competitive and business intelligence.
We are an unbiased and independent observer of the Federal IT and Consulting sector, and are able to see companies from multiple angles and therefore, to identify firms who are positioned for success before they show up high on the scoreboard.
How often is the NXT UP list going to be updated? Will other firms be added at that time?
A more formal deep dive analysis is performed annually. The next more detailed review will be performed in 2021 with the next list to be published later in the year.
Didn’t make the list? Do you feel as if your company should be here? We get it – the cuts were hard and we understand if you put a picture of our logo on your dartboard. Better yet, go prove us wrong. Do great work for the Government and the constituents they serve. Make yourself indispensable by driving results in support of the many important missions the Federal sector tackles every day. Win and win big. Deliver awesomeness. And then, come gloat about it to us. Tell us every day how we were so wrong by not picking you! We really do want to hear about it. Scoop@G2Xchange.com
