Task order EG133W16NC1399 is a Time and Materials (T&M) order with fixed price labor rates for Scientific Software Support Services.” “The CyberData task order supports OWP and its National Water Center (NWC), as well as the NWC operations and Weather Forecast Offices (WFOs) and River Forecast Centers (RFCs). The support services provided by CyberData assist OWP with Scientific Software Services that transfer scientific advances in the areas of hydrology, hydrometeorology, and hydraulics from the research arena into operational applications at the NWC using a variety of software and data engineering tools and techniques. These include; software and data analysis, preliminary and detailed design, implementation, test, documentation, troubleshooting, mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, algorithm development, software implementation, program execution, analysis, validation and visualization of results on various individual projects. The support services are critical to the office’s ability to respond to user needs to protect life and property and support the consistent water prediction activities from global to local levels. CyberData provides Scientific Software Support Services and solutions throughout OWP in support of the NOAA mission. This modification will extend the period of performance required for Scientific Software Support Services to provide continuity of services and a required transition between this, to- be-extended, task order and its follow-on task order for The Water Prediction Computing Infrastructure Support (WPCIS) Services that is currently under evaluation under Request for Quotes (RFQ) 1305L220QNWWY0074 and is anticipated to be awarded by May 1, 2020.” The period is for an extension from March 16, 2020 through May 31, 2020 and three additional one-month option periods.
