G2X TAKE: Teracore, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) provider of management and enterprise IT consulting services to the Federal Government, just beat out 8 other bidders to be awarded a 5-year task with the Department of Treasury Internal Revenue Service Office of the CIO. The scope of this PWS encompasses contractor assistance to provide IRS cybersecurity security risk management with the necessary support in performing security activities. This task, funded by the IRS OCIO, was competed and awarded using GSA VETS 2.   Take Bytes  Teracore, a longtime partner to the IRS and one of the IRS Total Information Processing Support Services-4 (TIPSS-4) Primes, maintains a set of past performance that cuts across the broader FedCiv and DoD sector, to include DHS, US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Labor (DOL) OCIO and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  Led by President and CEO Luis Perez, Teracore is Prime on a number of contract vehicles, to include the VETS 2 GWAC, the only GWAC set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), designed to meet diverse agency IT services requirements, including new and emerging technologies.
