(DSG), a high-tech research and development (R&D) company specializing in IT, information systems, and engineering, was recently awarded a new IDIQ contract to provide development, management, implementation and O&M in support of FEMA’s Legacy Financial System, the Web Integrated Financial Management Information System (WebIFMIS) and Payment and Reporting System (PARS). WebIFMIS serves as an accounting and financial management system that pulls all of FEMA’s financial data from other FEMA, DHS, and Government-wide systems (subsystems), and is the source of data for both internal and external financial reporting. Per the announcement, DSG was noted for implementing a significant technological upgrade that allowed FEMA users to transition seamlessly from IFMIS to WebIFMIS without downtime or retraining. Three tasks have been placed against this IDIQ.
