The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires contractor support services for the upcoming Enterprise Small Business Information Technology (IT) Support Services (ESBITSS) contract.
The purpose of the ESBITSS contract is to obtain IT services to support the agency's programmatic, administrative, and management information systems. These systems are national in scope, affect all agency components, and are critical to the successful completion of the agency's priorities. There are 4 main task areas that will fall under ESBITSS: Infrastructure and Telecommunication Environment, Software Engineering and Systems Security, Database and Data Administration, and Lifecycle Development, DevOps, and Software Improvement.
The period of performance shall be for one (1) year with four (4) one-year option periods and a six-month option to extend. In addition to the intention of a small business set aside, the agency will follow policies to give preference to making multiple awards of IDIQ contracts.
SSA anticipates issuing the RFP by mid-September.
