The USDA Digital Services Center (DSC) Director position is an entrepreneurial, business leader responsible for growing and leading the adoption and operation of enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms at USDA. Duties As a Supervisory IT Specialist at GS-2210-15, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following: Serves as a recognized authority and advisor to executive leadership across USDA as well as senior executives, and staff at all levels within the Office of the Chief Information Officer around improving the user experience of technology products and services. Partners with stakeholders, colleagues, project leads, directors, and internal and external customers. Provides sound technical advice, leadership, and direction on all system analysis, customer experience, and human centered design-related issues for the betterment of the customer. Evaluates a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics around user experience, information architecture, interaction design, interface design, content strategy, change management, product design, organizational design, and service design to inform iterative development and strategy decisions in order to ensure the right product, software as a service (SaaS) platform, or service is being built.
