G2X TAKE: Jill Olmstead will bring her extensive set of experiences gained as a senior Federal Health Executive helping organizations take advantage of emerging technologies, transforming operations and empowering the workforce, to her new role with Accenture as a Managing Director responsible for cultivating health mission capabilities and delivering solutions for Federal health agencies.
Prior roles include:
Health Sector Leader - Guidehouse
Public Sector Health & Benefits Practice Leader - PwC
Public Sector Health Services Partner - PwC
This move is just the latest in a string of key hires in the recent past for Accenture, to include adding former CMS/HHS Outreach lead Brooke Bell to support Civilian Health; adding Federal Health industry veteran Nick Rhodes as Senior Manager; former DHA Telehealth/Technology Program Manager Jennifer Stone to support their VA Health Strategy; industry veteran Brent Lamar Swartz to support Veterans Affairs; and Michael Millett as a VA Account Strategist and Business Development Lead.
Accenture was recently awarded a $79M Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) TeleHealth IDIQ; was one of five firms named to an $84M Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Business Operations Support IDIQ; and added a Prime seat on the new HHS Intelligence Automation/Artificial Intelligence (IAAI) IDIQ.
The company recently expanded its Federal Digital Studio (Studio) in Washington, D.C., nearly doubling its size to more than 20,000 square feet and expanding its diverse team of designers, developers, data scientists, technologists and other digital experts. It also launched the Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Cyber Center, a state-of-the-art facility in San Antonio that provides cybersecurity capabilities on an as-a-service basis to help Government agencies and the Department of Defense manage, detect and respond to the increasing volume and velocity of cyber threats that target Government networks.
Accenture was noted earlier this year as one of the firms creating the biggest BUZZ in the Federal Health market. More Here.
