“Atlas Research has received a $9.9 million task order from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Modernization to support the Office as it integrates change initiatives across VA and focuses on Secretary Shulkin’s priorities. The Office is charged with transforming VA into a modern, high-performing organization that improves delivery to Veterans and simplifies the operations of VA."
"The Atlas team will provide program management, implementation and analytical services, and health industry subject matter expertise in support of VA’s enterprise initiatives over the next two years."
“Atlas is honored to work at the center of VA’s modernization initiative,” said Atlas President and CEO Robin Portman. “We look forward to bringing our innovation and agility to the table as we address emerging challenges and opportunities for modernization.”
G2X TAKE: This is clearly a big win for SDVOSB Atlas Research as this 20-month task provides the opportunity to support this office charged with driving strategic enterprise initiatives at a time in which the Agency prepares to undergo massive change on several fronts.
This award comes on the heels of Atlas recently picking up a Prime spot on the VHA Product Effectiveness Support BPA. The insight this group is gaining will and should make this group a potential partner and competitor to evaluate for any of these types of strategic engagements at VA.
