G2X TAKE: Dia Taylor, armed with over 30 years of Federal sector leadership experience and with significant experience in leading strategic operational change, has been tapped by the CDC as Deputy Chief Operating Officer. Dia brings perspective gained serving as the chief advisor on all human capital and resources management issues at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In this new position, Dia will be responsible for providing executive leadership in improving CDC business, information management, human capital, financial management, and infrastructure systems in support of the Chief Operating Officer. Dia will also be responsible for developing program systems that enhance CDC's mission and public health goals and implementing strategies for increasing the efficiency and value of operational systems throughout CDC.
