G2X TAKE: Building on a QPP Conversion Tools task added last year, small business Flexion recently beat out 5 other bidders to secure an 18-month Quality Payment Program (QPP) Foundational Components Support task awarded under CMS’ Agile Delivery to Execute Legislative Endeavors for Quality Related Initiatives (ADELE-QRI) BPA. This BPA, awarded in 2016 to a half-dozen emerging and fresh-faced Digital Service favorites, continues to be a go-to BPA for many of the QPP initiatives, to the ire of many established and long-term CMS IT vendors. On purpose or by chance, CMS has done a good job of spreading the awards around on this vehicle to the various Primes, though that has made it a bit more challenging for subcontractors looking for a partner to align themselves with. Marketing themselves as “an enterprise advising, staffing and digital solutions company serving up Lean and Agile solutions that flex and adapt to each client’s needs”, this win should ensure a few more calls are made to Sarah Ruggless and the leadership team at Flexion.
