G2X TAKE: Beating out three other bidders, Client Network Services (CNSI) has been awarded a 5-year, $29M contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the Encounter Data Processing System, which collects and validates encounter data to support Medicare Plan Payment Group (MPPG) 002915 encounter data collections from Medicare Advantage plans. The contract was competed on the GSA MAS contract vehicle.
CNSI was acquired in December by investment funds affiliated with global investment firm Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG). In light of the acquisition, the company recently named its new board of directors. Read more here.
