General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has been awarded a 5-year, $34M task by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for Vulnerability Program Management to detect and combat fraud, waste, and abuse in all CMS programs. There were three other bidders for the task, which was competed on the RMADA 2 contract vehicle.
This is just the latest CMS award for GDIT, which earlier this year was awarded a 5-year, $65M contract by CMS’s Enterprise Architecture Data Group to support its Integrated Data Repository (IDR). Read more here.
GDIT’s Kamal Narang, Vice President and General Manager, Federal Health Sector, was honored earlier this year with a 2022 FedHealthIT Hall of Fame Award, which honors individuals who have distinguished themselves time and again as winners of the FedHealthIT100 Awards for the impact they are making within the Federal Health community and in support of Federal Health missions.
