G2X TAKE: It can be hard to keep up with the changing landscape at CMS, but we are working hard to keep you covered. Included below are several recent moves to take note of: Just a few short weeks after seeing their CISO depart for a new role with the Department of Energy, comes word that recent Deputy CISO, Kevin Dorsey is no longer serving in that capacity. As previously reported, current CMS Deputy CIO, George Hoffmann has stepped in to serve as Acting Director for the Information Security and Privacy Group for the time being. Other OIT moves include: Frank Domizio is the new Acting Deputy Director for the Division of Cyber Threat and Security Operations. Joseph Jankoviak recently moved over to serve as Deputy Director for the Division of Medicare Systems Support within the Enterprise Systems Solutions Group. Java Clemmons is now Acting Deputy Director for the Division of Operations Management within the Infrastructure and User Services Group. And, the Division of Customer Liaison and Support Services within the Infrastructure and User Services Grouprecently tapped Tanisha Williams as Acting Deputy Director. Some other recent notable moves outside OIT include: Anita Monteiro is now the Acting Deputy Director for the Quality Improvement and Innovation Group within the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality. Longtime CMS IT and Cobol SME, Gary Ciborowski, is now retired. Recent Director for the Division of Program and Support Systems, Ed Klein is on detail to the Division of Program and Data Management where he will support activities for the Financial Management Systems Group within the Office of Financial Management.
