Updated April 1, 2018 UPDATE: Over the weekend, NITAAC posted the final SDVOSB On-Ramp awards list for CIO-SP3 SB, trimming the list by two, while noting that the HUBZone, 8(a) and general small category evaluations are still in process (see the full announcement here). Posted February 28, 2018 "The National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) completed its evaluation of proposals under the subject solicitation. Source: FBO.gov G2X TAKE: After a series of early starts and stops, Wednesday morning NITAAC and their PR machine pushed out the word of a pre-award announcement that 40 SDVOSBs have been selected as "the best-qualified offers". (see the awardee list below) HUBZone announcements soon? G2X spoke briefly with NITAAC officials mid last month where they indicated that the SDVOSB and HUBZone awards would go first and that all awards are expected to be closed out by Q3/Q4 of FY18. In a separate session, NITAAC also stated they are planning to kick off the recompete efforts for the next generation of CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 SB contracts as early as late 2018/early 2019. The list of 40 service disabled veteran-owned business awardees includes some new faces, but also several of the fastest growing firms in town. More to come from G2X on the opportunities these firms can expect to be coming their way as we close out FY18 and look to FY19 and beyond. We almost made it through this entire piece without mentioning Protests. They are likely, but having weathered and re-grouped after some of their initial award announcements and subsequent challenges, we expect NITAAC to be well prepared.
