G2X TAKE: Beating out four other bidders, this 8(a) and EDWOSB just secured this 5-year task to help define, establish, support, maintain and enhance the CMS Enterprise Portal environment, a “user interface presented as an “Integration Glass,” a single window through which users may see and access information and applications from multiple sources.” This task was awarded to Chags Health Information Technology (C-HIT) a fast-rising Columbia, MD based CMS SPARC Prime who specializes in Federal and State Health Information Technology. You can read about the full scope of Enterprise Portal Contract by clicking here. For C-HIT, this is the second big task they have pulled down in the short history of the IDIQ after beating out 10 to win a $43.5 task for Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM), Remote Identity Proofing (RIDP), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) O&M this past Fall. With an executive team made up of senior leaders who previously led the charge for one of the most successful small business Primes at CMS prior to its acquisition, this group clearly knows what it takes to win and deliver at CMS. As such, they will continue to be one firm potential competitors and partners will be paying closer attention to.
