G2X TAKE: Veteran Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (VESI), a service-disabled Veteran-owned consulting firm, focused on providing a range of information technology, administrative, management, and support services, recently novated a contract, securing a Prime role on this 10-year $5 billion information technology support services Government-wide acquisition contract set-aside for service-disabled, Veteran-owned small businesses.  The contract was previously held by VetsAmerica Business Consulting, Inc. (VetsAmerica).   No details have been provided as to details of the transaction. It is G2X's understanding that an IDIQ contract cannot be sold, but it can be packaged as part of a larger portfolio that is sold to a company.   VetsAmerica had not won any Prime work on this vehicle since it was awarded in 2017 (More here) and we can find no funded Prime work for VESI in the Federal sector.   Led by President Karena Gardner, VESI only shows 5 employees on LinkedIn. They are likely to have more, but it is an indication of the size of this entity. We should note that VetsAmerica CEO Cliff Gandy is now listed as VP and CIO for VESI as of last Fall, charged with managing client accounts and assisting in growth and development of staff as well as the overall company.
