G2X TAKE: Beating out two other bidders, CivitasDX, a service-disabled Veteran-owned small business JV, has been awarded a 3 ½-year task with the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide services to support IT legacy sustainment applications and DevSecOps for Corporate portfolio product lines. The task, valued at $96M, was awarded as an SDVOSB set-aside action using T4NG.  Take Bytes  Earlier this summer Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) announced that Halfaker and Associates, LLC, an SAIC company, and Cognitive Medical Systems had acquired CivitasDX, a certified service-disabled, Veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) joint venture to optimize digital experiences between citizens and their governments. More on that here. At the same time as this announcement, CivitasDX novated a T4NG Prime contract previously awarded to The Informatics Applications Group (tiag). Agile Six Applications had acquired tiag’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) business unit, which included tiag’s T4NG contract vehicle and work supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), in 2017.
