G2X TAKE: VetsEZ, a mature and agile service-disabled Veteran-owned small business provider of information technology services, just beat out six other bidders to be awarded a 3-year task to support ongoing efforts by VA to modernize how the Agency manages Community Care and to support the implementation of the Community Care Network solutions. The task was competed and awarded using T4NG as an SDVOSB set-aside action. The scope of this task order enables the Department of Veterans Affairs to continue in its Product Line Management restructuring by combining the Community Care development and operations activities into a single task order award, which will be managed by Veterans EZ Info Inc as Prime contractor, employing a Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) methodology and Essential Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices. Take Bytes This win builds on an IT Support task win VetsEZ added with VA OIG to start 2021 and adds to their positive momentum in support of Veterans Affairs of late, to include the deployment of an Integrated PDMP Solution to Help VA Combat the Veterans’ Opioid Crisis. Over the past year G2X has noted a number of strategic hires and promotions by VetsEZ to support growth, to include tapping industry leader Joe Kearney to serve as VP of Growth and Capture; recruiting Mike McCormick to drive capture; and recruiting experienced Capture Executive Bryan Schnitker. In addition to holding a Prime award on VA T4NG, VetsEZ has secured and maintains Prime access on a number of key contract vehicles, to include the $25B VA VECTOR IDIQ, the $5B GSA VETS 2 GWAC, and the $20B CIO-SP3 SB GWAC. Outside of VA they were also recently awarded a Prime role on the $10B Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) OneIT IDIQ. See all of their contracts here. Led by James Miner, President & Chief Executive Officer, and Sanjay Dhar, Executive VP and CIO, VetsEZ was honored last year as a Great Place to Work Certified™ company and they were named to the list of NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector for years to come.
