TUGCON; JONES ACT

The Department of the Navy, Military Sealift Command (MSC) PM41, is seeking one U.S. Flag, Jones Act qualified, ocean-going certified tug to provide towing services for exercise RIMPAC-26. The vessel must be capable of towing the EX-MOBILE BAY and EX-PELELIU in accordance with the U.S. Navy Tow Manual (SL740-AA-MAN-010). Performance involves two specific voyages: the first delivery originates at INACTSHIPS Bremerton, Washington, and the second at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Both tows will proceed to the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Barking Sands, Kauai, Hawaii.
