IDIQ CONTRACT FOR A-E SERVICES IN ROICC THAILAND’S AOR UNDER THE COGNIZANCE OF NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND, PACIFIC

The Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific, is soliciting for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for multi-discipline architect-engineer services. This procurement, identified under solicitation number N6274224R6702, falls under NAICS code 541330 for Engineering Services and PSC C219 for Architect and Engineering-General: Other. The selected contractor will provide design and engineering services compliant with the International Building Code, Unified Facilities Criteria for non-permanent DoD facilities, and host-nation construction codes. Performance will primarily occur in Bangkok, Thailand, and within the Resident Office in Charge of Construction Thailand’s area of responsibility, which includes the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Palau, Micronesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Fiji, Maldives, and Nepal.

The scope of work encompasses the preparation of preliminary and final construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the construction of new buildings as well as the alteration and repair of existing structures. Specific tasks include the development of project engineering documentation such as DD1391s, technical reports, concept studies, and operations and maintenance manuals. The contractor will also perform geotechnical investigations, utility site surveys, topographic surveys, design reviews, construction consultation, and post-construction award services. These projects are predominantly located in tropical, high-humidity marine environments typical of the Pacific region.
