Information Display System Version 4 Support Services

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a single source contract to Systems Atlanta, Inc. Kennesaw, GA The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center proposes to procure support services for the Information Display System version 4 (IDS4) software used on the IDS4 systems. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. All core and interface IDS4 software was designed, developed, tested and certified by Systems Atlanta Inc under its Independent Research and Development Initiative and is 100% proprietary to the company. This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Systems Atlanta Inc and is not available for full and open competition.
