Atlantic Coast of Maryland (ACMD) Berm Reconstruction

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, is conducting market research through this sources sought notice for the Atlantic Coast of Maryland Berm Reconstruction project in Ocean City, Maryland. The project purpose is to reduce coastal storm damage risks to local infrastructure by dredging approximately 1.2 million cubic yards of sand from the Weaver Shoals offshore borrow area, located seven to eight miles from the coast. This material will be placed along roughly 8.3 miles of existing beach; however, the scope of work excludes any construction or maintenance on the existing dune or seawall.

The government intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation for these requirements, classified under NAICS 237990 for Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and PSC Z1KF for Maintenance of Dredging Facilities. There is currently no set-aside designation associated with this notice, identified by solicitation number W912DR26BA003.
