USFS Cle Elum Ranger District Vault Pumping Services

The USDA Forest Service, via CSA Northwest 2, is soliciting bids for a firm-fixed-price requirements contract to provide vault pumping services at the Cle Elum Ranger District within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. This acquisition is categorized under NAICS 562991, Septic Tank and Related Services, and PSC S222, Housekeeping- Waste Treatment/Storage. The solicitation is restricted to a total small business set-aside (SBA). Responses to solicitation number 1240BD26Q0030 are due by April 15, 2026, for a project scheduled to begin around May 1, 2026.

The selected contractor will provide all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, and supplies required to pump, recharge, and dispose of waste from vault toilets and septic tanks on an as-needed basis across 36 locations. Performance occurs in Cle Elum, Washington, specifically within recreation sites along Interstate-90, the Cle Elum Valley, Teanaway Valley, and Manastash/Taneum. Technical requirements include the use of a septic pumper truck equipped with a minimum 4-inch suction hose capable of reaching 100 feet. All waste must be transported and disposed of at state-approved commercial treatment facilities located off National Forest Lands.

The contract features a one-year base period followed by four one-year option periods, totaling five years of potential performance. Active service dates are anticipated to run annually from May 1st through October 31st.
