Description: The contractor shall furnish all labor, facilities, parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the overhaul andrepair of the following assets: NOMENCLATURE: Cossi Clutch Assembly INPUT NSN P/N: 3010-01-515-8483 3617950-1 OUTPUT NSN: P/N: 3010-01-515-8483 3617950-1 Overhaul/repair of Cossi Clutch Assembly ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 120 each - Maximum 696 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 116 each) The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul type contract, with minimum / maximum quantities listed above. These items are commercial; FAR Part 12 will be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) for this overhaul effort; accordingly, this requirement cannot support a competitive solicitation. This item has be identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Currently the only known approved sources for overhaul/repair for the Cossi Clutch Assembly is Honeywell International Inc., (Cage Code: 59364) and The Boeing Company, 5000 East McDowell, Road Mesa, AZ 85215-9707 (CAGE Code: 8V613). Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. Firms are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following website:http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Requests for the solicitation shall be by mail. You may mail your request to Monty Teasley, CCAM-ALA, Building 5303, 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000. Email requests should be sent to [email protected]. Proposals can be hand-carried, mailed via the US Postal Service, or delivered by a commercial delivery service. No FAX or email responses shall be accepted for the initial proposal. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
