UCT, LLC. Solid Phase Extraction Columns, QUECHERS Salt Kits and Packages

The following represents the Notice of Intent that will be posted on beta.sam.gov. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to negotiate solely with United Chemical Technologies (UCT), LLC., 2731 Bartram Road, Bristol, PA 19007 to obtain the following supplies for the Western Lab in Albany, California:Solid phase extraction columns, QUECHERS salt kits, and QUECHERS salt packages The Government intends to purchase solid phase extraction columns, QUECHERS salt kits, and QUECHERS salt packages from UCT, LLC. that are used for extraction clean-up of samples. The columns separate out impurities from extracts based on molecular characteristics such as hydrophobicity and ionic interactions. The solid phase extraction columns provided must meet the requirements listed below. The QUECHERS salt kits are composed of 2 mL centrifuge tubes filled with pre-weighed a specific solid phase. The kits must meet the requirements listed below. The QUECHERS salt packages contain pre-weighed reagents in mylar pouches that are used for extractions. The packages must meet the requirements listed below. The supplies are sole proprietary to UCT, LLC. and is the only known source which can provide the required supplies to the current requirements. This procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements Citation: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). The period of performance will be for a 12- month base period plus 4 option years. The estimated value is $10,000 per month.
