FAA National Test Equipment Program (NTEP) Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Callibration

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued solicitation 6973GH-20-R-00042 as a combined synopsis/solicitation for the National Test Equipment Program (NTEP). This requirement supports the calibration of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) to facilitate the life cycle management of tools used to maintain National Airspace System systems, facilities, and services. The project is classified under NAICS code 811219 and PSC 6640 LABORATORY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES. The FAA 6973GJ Non-Franchise Acquisition Service objective is to ensure all TMDE is calibrated within the specific intervals defined in the Calibration Cycle Requirements Table.

Work will be performed using a combination of predominantly mobile calibration facilities and fixed facilities for equipment that cannot be serviced on-site. The FAA’s inventory of TMDE is located at various facilities throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). This contract enables the National Test Equipment Program Manager and other stakeholders to maintain equipment accuracy and operational readiness across all FAA locations.
