Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southwest (SW) has a mission critical need to procure temporary Contractor Labor Support (CLS) Services hereinafter referred to as Blue Collar Support. The Contractor shall provide Blue Collar Support Services to the Government for trouble shooting, diagnoses, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment to support the Navy clients within the NAVFAC SW Area of Responsibility (AOR) (California). The Contractor shall assist with the repair, operations, diagnosis, and technical support of Base systems, organizations, and operations. This acquisition will result in the award of a commercial service Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Blue Collar Contract Labor Support (CLS) contract. This is a competitive 8(a) set aside. The performance period will be for a base year and four (4), 12-month option periods. The Government intends to award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) proposal based on the evaluation factors in Section M ? Evaluation Factors for Award of the solicitation. Actual amount of work to be performed and the time and place of such performance will be determined by the Contracting Officer or his/her properly authorized representative, who will issue written task orders to the Contractor. Award of all task orders will be on a firm-fixed price basis. The purpose of this amendment (0008) is to correct the original solicitation ELIN Spreadsheet to add five (5) labor catagories (see ELINSX001AW/AX, X001AY/AZ, X001BA/BB, X001BC/BD, & X001BE/BF) and amend Section C - Performance Work Statement and Instructions toOfferors (Section C1.2.1.1) to align with the ELIN Spreadsheet.
