With the accreditations strict guidance to adhere strictly to established Quality Assurance (QA) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to include consistency and continuity of test procedures. After validating a product, it is set to be used exclusively throughout the forensic identification. Validation and using various products is not possible from this point because it violates the consistency and continuity of obtaining accurate test results. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
