F--Owl Surveys, Indef.-Delivery, Indef.-Quantity

The Bureau of Land Management Oregon State Office is seeking a contractor to perform field surveys for Northern spotted owls, great horned owls, and barred owls within the Cascades Resource Area of the Salem District. Under solicitation L09PS00463, the contractor will determine the occupancy, nesting status, and reproductive success of Northern spotted owls and locate great horned and barred owls. Requirements include the collection of survey visits, station summaries, and owl observation data for entry into a database.

This requirement is a one-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a total value not to exceed $500,000.00 and options to renew for four additional years. The project is classified under NAICS 541370 for Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services and PSC code F. This procurement is designated as an SBA; SBA set-aside. Fieldwork is estimated to begin on March 15, 2010.

Responses to this presolicitation notice are due by August 3, 2009, and the agency will consider offers from all responsible sources.
