J--Modification to Sole Source Procurement with ArgonST Inc.

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to issue a modification to contract N00178-07-D-3017 with ArgonST, Inc., 12701 Fair Lakes Circle, STE 800, Fairfax, Virginia 22033-4910. This contract was awarded on a sole source basis. The modification will increase the ceiling of the contract. This acquisition is intended to obtain specialized engineering services to support the operations and maintenance of the Ariel, Blackbeard, Badger and Wolverine systems, classified signal processing systems. The period of performance of the contract will change as a result of this modification and will be extended for six (6) additional months. The statutory Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), This authority applies to unique supplies or services that are available only from one source. The NAICS code is 541330 for this procurement.
