EZ Pass NY MTA Bridges & Tunnels

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. T he United States Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source, fixed price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), with Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Bridges and Tunnels for electronic toll collection system known as EZ Pass. The USSS intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with MTA for the purchase of electronic EZ Pass Tags for the New York Field Office which is necessary for the transportation of diplomats and other government officials and for operational travel to and from official duties such as training, protection and supervisory assignments. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
