F--The purpose of the Superfund Technical Assessment

The Environmental Protection Agency Region 3 Contracting Office issued this combined synopsis and solicitation, identified by solicitation number 68HE0324R0016, for the Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contract. This requirement is classified under NAICS 541620 Environmental Consulting Services and PSC F108 ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS PROTECTION- ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION. The primary purpose is to provide nationally consistent advisory and assistance services to EPA On-Scene Coordinators and other federal officials implementing responsibilities under the national response system. Responses are due by August 16, 2024, for performance based in Edison, New Jersey.

The contractor will provide scientific and technical support for activities protecting human health and the environment across regional, cross-regional, national, and international response levels. Advisory and assistance services extend to the Superfund Pre-Remedial Program, Brownfields Program, and various remedial support activities. For each task, the contractor must supply appropriately trained and accredited personnel with current credentials, as well as all necessary tools, materials, and equipment required to complete the assigned work.
